The Greater Charlotte IEC New Worker Program is an 8 week introductory training program designed for individuals who want to explore a career in the electrical trade. Participants receive practical, hands on instruction focused on workplace safety, tools, materials, and foundational electrical concepts.

This program is ideal for individuals with little or no electrical experience who want to gain confidence and industry exposure before pursuing an apprenticeship opportunity.

The New Worker Program is not the IEC Apprenticeship Program. Get ready to walk onto a jobsite with confidence and a stronger understanding of tools, materials, safety, and foundational electrical concepts.
