The IEC Electrical Training Apprenticeship Program supports both:

Earn While You Learn
- No prior experience required
- Starting wages at 50% of the average journeyworker rate
- 5% wage increases for every 1,000 hours of on‑the‑job training
- Classes held one evening per week
(5:00 PM – 9:00 PM) - Earn up to 57 college credit hours toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Only government‑certified programs like IEC can provide industry‑recognized electrician credentials
Getting Started
To be eligible, applicants should:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Pass the required Math Assessment
- Minimum score: 70%
- Covers pre‑algebra
- Maintain reliable transportation
- Be physically capable of performing trade work
- Have a valid email address, internet access, and a computer or smart device
