Our New Worker Training consists of twelve modules and runs over the course of (3) Saturdays.
- Jobsite Orientation and Introduction to Your Electrical Career
- Material Identification
- Hand and Power Tool Identification
- Tool Safety
- Ladder Safety
- Devices Identification
- Safety / PPE
- Wire Prep, Identification, and Installation
- Measuring Tools
Upon completion of this training, if a student is interested in joining IEC’s four-year electrical apprenticeship program, the transition will be seamless. He or she will enter the program with more basic industry knowledge than most.
